Her-Quest:

A Woman's Journey

Grow into Womanhood

Monthly Drop-In Circle

Wednesdays in Sai Kung

Her-Quest is a Woman's Journey-- a safe, nourishing space for women to unfold into womanhood while exploring their femininity. It was designed as a "women's circle for women who don't like women's circles" because chances are you may not have had the awareness, desire, or time for one UNTIL NOW...

You:

  • Are successful, modern woman who has done everything "right" in your life...but can't help but feel like something is still missing

  • Have hundreds of "digital friends" on social media, but very few real girlfriends

  • Have begun to rediscover your femininity, but perhaps sharing that journey with a group of women still intimidates you because you have experienced the shadow side of women before

  • Are ready to GROW! You desire to know who you truly are, to reignite your radiance, belong to a supportive sisterhood, and reconnect with something deeper...you just simply don't know how.

Her-Quest is WHERE you learn HOW...

The first thing you need to know is:

You are not alone.

Many women experience this very normal "thirst"--"craving"--"desire"--"longing" for an indescribable something deeper that is absent from their perfect-on-paper (or social media) lives.

The second thing you need to know is:

That "something" is real.

For nearly all modern, successful women, that something deeper is actually your desire to reconnect with your Feminine energy.

But if you have been burned by women before, or if it's been years since you connected to your own femininity, you can be quite hesitant to begin this journey...

Come learn how to embrace the Feminine with others who are on a similar path.

Why Join Her-Quest?

A Woman who joins Her-Quest will...

  • Feel equally confident speaking up in the office as confiding in friends or partners privately

  • Not only hear her intuition, but trust it to make the small and BIG decisions

  • Use self-compassion to lovingly accept both her light and shadow sides

  • Make amends between the linear world she works in and her cyclic nature within

  • Learn how to foster REAL, mature female relationships and lean into sisterhood

  • Practice healthy boundaries that protect her vital energy and earn her respect

  • Embrace life's pleasures by leaning into the FUN side of the Feminine

What is Her-Quest?

Her-Quest is a women's circle...

for women who normally don't like women's circles

(or maybe even other women for that matter...)

Her-Quest is the space you have been longing for to reconnect with yourself and other women in a safe, comfortable place...but designed for women like you - who normally wouldn't join a circle, but is still curious WTF ("what the fuss") is. :)

This is not your average women's circle. Sure, we will have discussions, but you will also do embodied practices that give you hands-on/hearts-on experiences with concepts you can't just think about but must embody, as well as Growth-Play that gives you playful scenarios that stretch your definition of who you really are.

Her-Quest is a place to go deep: into yourself and into what it means to be a woman in the 21st century. It's a nourishing space for self-discovery and practical self-expression. Here you will learn real, tangible tools that help you Grow into the woman you are always becoming. You will create mature, meaningful relationships with other women who are longing for the same thing.

And you just might leave liking women's circles...

and other women for that matter! :)

What we do...

Each 1.5 hour session is bespoke to each theme, but it includes a combination of:

  • Movement: Dance, Physical exercises, Role-playing

  • Deep Reflection: Journaling, Deep-thinking prompts, Art, Creative Depth-Play

  • Sacred Inquiry: Listening without judgment, Speaking with intent, holding space, storytelling

  • Visualization/Guided Meditation: Gaining insight using guided exploration

  • Touch: Shared healthy touch, massage, hugging

Did one of those make you nervous and not want to join? (usually it's the 'hugging'!) Don't worry...

a) you're normal and b) that nervousness is your gentle edge of Growth waiting to be nudged a bit further...

These are all Feminine Embodiment Practices, so getting more comfortable with them reconnects you to the Feminine five minutes of (temporary) discomfort at a time. In fact, you may Grow to love the one that scares you most... (oh the hugs!)

What we DON'T do...

This women’s circle is very intentional about providing a safe, nurturing space for you to unfold deeper into womanhood. The focus is more on YOU finding your own way, and less on:

  • Complaining or gossiping about other women or partners

  • Giving “expert” advice or prescribing a specific path

  • Trying to "fix you" or make you into something else

  • Being an exclusive clique or club

We are bringing the sisterhood back to womanhood by practicing the Awakening Women’s Global Sisterhood Manifesto and as a facilitator I pride myself on providing a genuine space for women to come, practice, and leave knowing they are welcome, safe and appreciated.

Who would enjoy Her-Quest?

womangrass.jpeg

Those who identify as women of all ages, stages, and backgrounds are welcome. Whether you are in Maidenhood, Motherhood, or Sagehood, there is a space waiting for you. You will know if Her-Quest is right for you if you are:

  • Ready to explore a side of you that equally intrigues and scares you

  • Curious about how embracing Femininity can strengthen you and provide wholeness

  • Open to learning realistic, holistic practices that you can apply immediately

  • Truly willing and able to give this gift to yourself

Her-Quest is a form of Self-Discovery, Self-Care, and Self-Empowerment--so at first glance it might feel Self-ISH, but when you recognize that a woman who heals herself heals her family and her community, you will value your inner journey as a service to the world.

When is Her-Quest?

Gratitude

Who is your Guide?

IMG_0995.jpg

Her-Quest is guided by me, Dr. Katie T. Larson, PhD--Growth Coach and founder of GrowthQuests

Six years ago, I too may not have pictured myself joining a women's circle, but after accidentally attending one (!) I found the warm, support of mature, genuine women was just what I was longing for. It changed my life positively in dozens of ways.

I mix my favorite aspects of the women's circles I have has attended with my own customized Growth-Play to create a welcoming, holistic environment for women of all walks of life. I know you will leave Her-Quest with a renewed sense of love for the Feminine as well as other women.

What is my investment?

Her-Quest Drop-In Sessions

Each drop-in session costs $200 HKD online and $250 HKD in person at the venue.

Any seats bought ahead are non-refundable, but can be exchanged instead for a personal coaching session with Dr. Larson within two weeks of the date purchased.

Still on the Fence?

Her-Quest FAQs

Q: What are the benefits of women's circles?

A: Women are social by design--we actually shine brightest when we are in supportive, loving, authentic groups. We are able to use our innate skills of cooperation, connection, and care. We are also able to go inwards to explore our deepest desires, truths, and gifts without fear of judgement.

Numerous studies report that women who attended women's circles regularly have better physical, mental, and social health, stronger friendships, longer-lasting marriages, and even more career success.

But you don't need a research study to confirm what you feel once you attend one. There is a palpable power in women's circles that many attendees confirm is the exact feeling they have been missing from their 'perfect-on-paper' (but not in reality) lives.

Q: What is your (Dr. Larson) motivation for bringing Her-Quest to HK?

A: At the age of 12 I was an all-too-common victim of girlhood bullying. Bullying by social exclusion not only affected my female relationships as a teenager, but it significantly influenced the way I approached groups of women as an adult --- mostly avoiding them at all costs. Although I was an "includer" by nature, the thought of joining a woman's circle scared me because most of my previous experience with groups of women didn't usually end well.

Yet, fast forward to 2015 when I accidentally stumbled into Women's Temple and was met with a safe, nourishing space that allowed me to explore the shadow side of the Feminine (which sadly had been my dominant reality), but also to embrace the light side of it through embodied practices.

My consistent practice of attending this women's circle positively transformed my entire perspective of myself as a woman, the Feminine energy within the world, and my relationships with other women. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to grow into a more mature, genuine, loving, and self-empowered woman who longs to expose more women to these principles. I truly believe that women who can embrace their light and have self-compassion for their shadows will raise daughters who have little desire to bully other girls.

And this is how we begin to heal the Feminine. Really we are looking at "third-wave feminism", where many women have benefited from the first wave (political equality) and second wave (economical equality) of feminism, but in the third wave, we are looking within ourselves and understanding what exactly is the Feminine? How is it different from the Masculine? How do I personally embody both of these energies and how can I honor both?

(Read Dr. KTL's BLOG on her experiences HERE)

Q: What is the difference between the 4-week circle and the Drop-in sessions?

A: The 4-week circle is a commitment of one month and those who attend will follow each other through each of the 4 week sessions, while the Drop-in sessions are stand alone and can have any women from the community. It includes a private coaching session, unlimited email access, secret group, and access to the Drop-in sessions as part of the package.

The 4-week circle will build off themes that complement each other consecutively, while the Drop-in sessions will be suitable as stand-alone topics.

Q: Why is this considered "not your average women's circle"?

A: Her-Quest was designed with the assumption that you may have never attended (or enjoyed) women's circles in the past, so there will be a high-level of transparency for why we do what we do so you can learn how they can positively influence your life.

Additionally, Her-Quest is less discussion-based and more experiential, which can be a welcoming experience for women who are more introverted (and thus don't enjoy the social nature of talking-groups), or women who prefer to experience the Feminine privately, but still in the comfort of other women.

Even if you actually love women's circles (and other women), you will find the design of Her-Quest a refreshingly new take on how to experience the power of a circle.

Q: What if I want to ask more questions before I sign up?

A: Email Dr. Larson at: Unfold@GrowthQuests.com
